The box is for cost efficient shipping. They stack the atv's 2 high on the truck to ship to distributor's. The box is saving you money in the long run. Anybody ever seen an ATV hauler driving down the highway?
By: CAGuy0. on 29 Sep 09, 21:44:48
around $5,000 each
By: RPDXC. on 29 Sep 09, 13:57:11
My guess on the box situation is, it insures that the atv has not been tampered with before entering the dealerships. Ofcourse you wouldn't box a car. Theres nothing you can loosen or tighten on a locked car. And I think we would run out of cardboard if they boxed every car up. ; ) Great video!

By: rennagata92. on 26 Sep 09, 17:45:12
its probably easier to ship that way

That sounds like compression molding. Injection molding injects plastic into two mold halves held under tonnage. Once the plastic is cool enough to eject, the mold is opened and the parts are removed. Huge HUGE difference!
By: RadKuntSmith. on 21 Sep 09, 19:27:50
Yeah that's true, but that's really all you do. Inject the molten metal or plastic into a mold, the the next piece comes along and compresses it ( or squashes ) So it creates the right part.
By: fatdudewh33lchair. on 20 Sep 09, 07:13:08
I don't see the point in putting the atv in a box. Im pretty sure that the car dealers don't get their cars in a box its totally pointless. but i do understand the pallet so forklifts can put them on trucks and stuff. It's probably gonna get muddy the day its sold and i doubt that box it going to do much protecting.
By: treesapa. on 19 Sep 09, 17:49:23
Suzuki is good
By: briansg44. on 07 Sep 09, 01:38:59
Weak description of injection molding your bodies. Much more complicated, you dont "squash" molten material. They would call it squash molding if you did. True?
