Many things to comment on here...but for one, u may fear GTR's in a ZR1 but I wouldn't b/c I know how to handle a high hp car. I don't rest my skills on a fail proof F1 gear box, & AWD computer controlled systems. FYI GTR only run 11.7s why would I fear them unless it raining?, lol & from what Ive read from different tests w/o the LC system GTRs are running 11.9-12.3.

@MaxwellReviresco & WHO THE HELL, says... i think I'll spent 155K on the R8 V10 because it's faster then the R8 v8, only to hope they don't run into anyone driving a ZR1??? yea, i think not! I love the R8, it's a great car, BUT 7sec around a 4.2 mile track is a life time, & aside from ZR1's you would also have to live in fear of GT-R's... yea not for my 150K, I spend that kind of money, I don't want my wife looking at me like, " you can't even catch a nissan?" 150K, means no explaining losses!

@coolerdude44 maybe ur not getting it, not one single person that can afford these cars r going to use them as a daily driver man, & even if they did the ZR1 is highly practical especially adjustable MR suspension. Now the Audi would be the most forgiving in some cases but not all & not by a big margin man. With a price tag of 155k it damn well should! The only thing the ZR1 lacks is interior...& with the extra 40k I could fill the cockpit w/ carbon figer & leather plus a down payment on a house

ZR1 has better breaks, MR suspension, one of the most praised motors in world, & this video proves 7sec faster than u loveable R8 even faster than the 670Lambo...it does all this w/o any computer help or F1 gear boxes, & without losing any diver experence yet can actually go up & down driveways & over speed bumps.

We need to find alternative materials for virtually everything we've built and in use in the past 3000 years (the ones still in use, obviously). From an engineers standpoint, that's near impossible. Lot of sacrifices is to be made. From a consumer standpoint, it's a nightmare. Imagine plastic, and everything made from it, 10 times more expensive. Now tell me materials aren't more vital.

While you can build facilities to get energy from solar, wind, gravity, sea waves, magma, cow manure, trash, etc, once a material source is finished, you'll have to develop a new way of extracting it from other sources, OR, find another material with the exact same properties. Lithium for example. Took us about a century to find out it's the best material to use for batteries. What do you do if it runs out? Name me a better alternative.

No. I'm saying that either way the salad is finite. Getting Matt off of it was a good idea to help Matt survive, but John is still in danger. We don't have a future lettuce problem. We have a future tomato problem. With current rate of efficiency improvement gasoline will last us longer than we need. Car & Driver did have some bias in their rankings. I think the pros and cons of the Cadillac vs Mercedes were basically equal, so if you factor in the price gap, Cadillac has to have a slight edge. As a 2009 CTS-V owner, I am biased too I suppose.

I want the CTS-V coupe too because I see it as the closest I'd ever be getting to a Reventon, but, my problem with it is the center dash console which looks strange and plasticy. For the $70,000 (or more) this car is gonna cost, it will make more sense to buy the regular CTS coupe if this is your household's second car. The maintanence on these things is huge.

I'm lusting for THIS. What a gorgeous car, exterior and interior. And though it's not "cheap" as some have said, look at what you're getting ! This past sunday, my cousin took me for a ride in his car, that is anything but "cheap", and superior to THIS Cadillac in every way. The Aston Martin DBS. What a flawless piece of plush, blindingly fast machinery, but with a list price of 4 X the Caddy, I'll go American ! $70k does NOT upset me. :)

Is it longer than the CTS? Because if Yes it is the STS. I would go to the caddy website and look at the pictures section for every car until I found it. But there is also a CTS-V, which has a different front end, rims, etc. It's the perfromance version of the CTS. But yeah, I would check the addy website if you were absolutley sure it is a caddy.

i was able drive one of these recently with a friend who works at GM. This thing drives amazing and it handles like a sports car. This car turns heads everywhere we went. For a wagon, the lines are awesome. The hatch curved window is really cool. When my SUV lease is up, I'm getting one of these.
