I have never done yoga before, but I am pretty active in sports. I found this pace fast, but encouraging and attainable. I treated it as more of a stretching session with breathing advice than a long yoga session. I like it, I'm doing it again later today too.

Trying this video was somewhat defeating and frustrating. It goes so fast and doesn't focus on learning how to breath in yoga. Doesn't seem like it was really made for beginners. I don't know much about yoga besides a handful of classes. But, if I went to them and it was anything like this, I would never go back.

Normally, a Yoga Class lasts 60-90 minutes. In Youtube I can post Videos which are 10 Minutes long only. Many enjoy the 10-minute-Yoga session anyhow - in little time you get a lot of benefit. But you are right: Normally you hold the postures longer.
